At Project Glimmer, our mission is to inspire all girls to envision and realize an empowered future.
Since our founding in 2010, we've positively impacted more than 1 million teenage girls and women in all 50 states from underserved communities, with an emphasis on foster youth. Our proven programs, such as Gifts + Goods, Empower Events, 1:1 Coaching, and Empowerment Academy, are dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty and helping end gender and racial inequality.

Empowerment Academy
Our Empowerment Academy is a six-week virtual leadership course designed to equip high school-aged girls with goal-setting, presentation skills, and financial literacy. We run a minimum of six cohorts per year for girls nationwide and graduates go on to become peer mentors within the Academy!

Empower Hours
Our virtual Empower Hours and in-person Days of Empowerment are designed to help close the success gap by providing access to different companies, career paths, and relatable role models who have successfully broken the cycle of poverty in their own lives.

Career Coaching
The young women we’ve inspired at our Empowerment events need a network of support to help them realize their dreams. Through 1:1 career coaching sessions, volunteers help identify their strengths, explore careers and provide tangible tools to achieve success.

Gifts + Goods
Through Project Glimmer’s Social Supply Chain for Good, meaningful gifts and essential goods are delivered to thousands of young women each year, instilling personal confidence. Powered by a vast network of brands, companies, and individuals who donate products and volunteer time, we ensure every girl knows that she matters and that we believe in her.
