Today is Earth Day!

In celebration of Earth Day, we'd like to share more about our Gifts + Goods program and Social Supply Chain for Good. Our social supply chain allows us to help brands reach their philanthropic and sustainability goals by giving them the opportunity to donate unused inventory which Project Glimmer turns into meaningful and useful gifts.

“At BUXOM, we are dedicated to empowering future generations of young women to feel confident in their own skin. We’re grateful for our partnership with Project Glimmer and the opportunity to repurpose our inventory by donating our products to help young women express their unique personal power and use BUXOM Cosmetics to experiment, take risks, and most importantly – have fun.”

- Jill Scalamandre, President of BUXOM Cosmetics

"Giving back is deeply personal to us, and it's our goal at Birdies to champion all women by inspiring, supporting, and empowering each other every step of the way. That's why we're proud to partner with Project Glimmer to help lift up future generations of women. As part of this effort, we're donating a selection of unworn shoes to Project Glimmer's Social Supply Chain for Good, which reduces waste and repurposes products into meaningful gifts for girls from foster care, youth services, and more."

- Bianca Gates and Marisa Sharkey, Co-Founders of Birdies

“Rocksbox is proud to partner with Project Glimmer, donating excess jewelry inventory to Project Glimmer to be repurposed into meaningful gifts throughout the year. These gifts inspire and encourage strong young women to reach their full potential, and reduce product waste in our supply chain. It’s a win-win.”

- Kim Jones, Senior Operations Manager

In the last year, Project Glimmer has distributed nearly 1,000,000 products nationwide – including beauty, jewelry, accessories, wellness, technology and more – that instill personal confidence in teenage girls and young women throughout the year. Do you work for a company (or know someone who does) that may be interested in joining our Social Supply Chain for Good?
